Loan for cosmetic surgery – 2026 comparison

Which financing is suitable for aesthetic procedures? We compare providers, interest rates and conditions – independently and transparently.

This is a translation for convenience. The German version and the insurers' policy terms prevail.

Comparing the financing

Important: Statutory health insurance funds (gesetzliche Krankenkassen) do not, as a matter of principle, cover the costs of aesthetic operations. Financing through a loan is therefore the only route for many patients – which makes a genuine comparison all the more important.

Anyone taking out a loan should not simply accept the first offer from their own bank. Terms differ considerably between banks, and for the same amount and the same term it is the effective annual rate alone that determines what the procedure ends up costing. Specialist comparison services place the offers of several banks side by side instead of brokering just one.

beauty.credit is one such comparison service, specialising in the financing of aesthetic procedures. It compares the offers of several banks; according to the provider, the loan amount ranges from EUR 1,000 to 50,000, the term from 12 to 84 months, and the decision is made within 24 hours. No proof of use towards the clinic is required. → Go to the beauty.credit loan comparison

What to look out for with a beauty loan

Effective annual interest rate (effektiver Jahreszins)

Only the effective annual interest rate contains all costs. Advertising with the nominal interest rate (Nominalzins) is misleading – always compare the effective rate.

Term & instalment

Longer term = lower instalment, but higher total interest. Choose the highest instalment that you can bear over the long term.

Special repayments (Sondertilgungen)

Free special repayments allow early repayment and save interest. Check whether, and up to what amount, the provider permits them without a fee.

Discretion

A beauty loan does not have to appear as such in the SCHUFA record. Ask how the provider handles your data and what purpose it reports.

Combination tip: loan + insurance

Financing covers the procedure, not its consequences. Anyone considering a loan should settle the question of complication insurance at the same time – otherwise, if something goes wrong, the treatment bill arrives alongside the monthly instalment.
